How booking works
You can enquire on your own for a place on the group expedition. Private charters are discussed individually. We start with a conversation, then send a written proposal you can review before committing.
Send an enquiry
Tell us your dates, party size and accommodation preferences. Your enquiry is a request for information, not a booking or a payment.
Discuss the expedition
We discuss the cabin, food, participation, travel buffers and any additional requirements with you.
Review your written offer
Before payment you receive the price, inclusions, contracting company and applicable booking terms. The contracting entity depends on your country and is identified in your individual documents.
Confirm with the team
Read and agree the contract, payment schedule and cancellation terms before paying. The team confirms your reservation directly.
Payment schedule
A 30% deposit is due when your booking is confirmed. The remaining 70% is due 60 days before departure. Bookings made less than 60 days before departure require full payment. Payment details are supplied with your individual contract.
Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel, the following cancellation charge applies as a percentage of your agreed expedition price.

If we cancel the expedition
We offer a transfer to another departure or a refund of the amount paid for the expedition. The arrangements are confirmed with you in writing.
Weather windows and additional hotel nights
The programme allows around 21 days. If conditions are unsuitable, our usual approach is to wait for a suitable weather window and adapt the route. The captain decides when it is safe to sail.
Weather may change departure and return times, and delays can exceed the ±2-day planning allowance. Guests pay for additional hotel nights caused by weather delays. Discuss travel buffers and arrangements for significant schedule changes with the team before booking flights.
